EMTRAC's work is led and delivered by people from both partners: emergency managers, firefighters, safety and civil works advisors, and the directors of Emcorp Group and Traccorp.
Between them the three directors cover wildfire operations, industrial fire and rescue, emergency management and international training.
Director Traccorp
Scott brings over 25 years’ experience in emergency response and wildfire management. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Public Safety (Emergency Management) and multiple technical certifications. He manages a national framework of wildfire responders as part of Traccorp operations, and has delivered training and education programs to government and non-government agencies, including international emergency services.
Director Emcorp Group
Brett brings over 20 years’ experience in emergency response and management. A published author, he is an Industrial Fire Rescue manager who has had oversight of critical energy infrastructure and defence base assets. A qualified Combat Medic with the Australian Army, he has also managed major flood and wildfire responses for the Department of Defence.

Richard brings over 31 years in emergency management: as a police officer, a professional firefighter and specialist HAZMAT-CBR technician, and as manager of corporate emergency management and response entities. He is a Board member and Treasurer of the Australian Bushfire Management Association (ABMA). He holds an MBA and an Advanced Diploma in Public Safety (Emergency Management), is a Fellow of the Institute of Civil Protection and Emergency Management (UK), a UN-certified Heavy USAR Category 1 operator and a member of the International Disaster Assistance Response team. He also holds the Certificate in Firefighting Studies and is a qualified Fire Safety Advisor. He has developed and delivered international training and education programs for government agencies and commercial entities in multiple countries.
Firefighters, emergency managers and the specialist advisors who keep the safety system, the plant and the technology working. Each card names the partner the person works through; several work across both.
Berenger holds the Certificate II in Respond to Wildfire and Suppress Wildfire. He supports national services across all regions of Australia protecting critical infrastructure, and assists with the international wildfire training programs. He manages heavy plant and equipment assets through Trac Logistics.
Tadgh holds the Certificate II in Respond to Wildfire and Suppress Wildfire, plus a range of specialist certifications as a professional arborist. A specialist in drone operations, he provides technical training to overseas participants at EMTRAC’s International Wildfire Training Centre.
Michael brings over 30 years’ expertise in emergency management. He began as a Police Rescue operator, then moved interstate to work as an Ambulance Paramedic. After an extensive period he joined the Country Fire Authority as a firefighter and now holds the rank of Captain. He is a risk consultant and educator with Emcorp for national works.
Brendan holds certificates in workplace emergency management and response. He supports national firefighting services across all regions of Australia protecting critical infrastructure for major entities including the ARTC and the Canadian firm Loram.
Paul holds the Diploma of Fire Science and supports both firefighting operations with Traccorp and training and education work with Emcorp. A former professional firefighter with the CFA (Country Fire Authority), he brings deep technical knowledge from his background and education.
Mitchell holds the Diploma in Risk Management and is a professional safety consultant. With experience in training and education for Emcorp, he brings deep knowledge of safety management systems and provides expert consultancy to EMTRAC internally and to its clients.
Jake holds multiple professional construction qualifications and provides expert consultancy on EMTRAC activities that prepare, service or upgrade land and infrastructure: utility infrastructure, roads, rail environments and land management works where EMTRAC operates.
Tim is an Australian Computer Society Certified Professional and brings experience as a forest firefighter. As a crisis manager for a national telecommunications network, he has extensive experience in critical infrastructure support in times of duress or disaster. Tim manages the IT infrastructure of Emcorp, Traccorp and the EMTRAC joint venture, and the technology products used in its internal Safety Management System, including EMAction.
